Oulton Park's Historic Gold Cup returns on its new height-of-summer date with three days of motorsport nostalgia this weekend (29-31 July). Tickets will be available to purchase on the gate across all three days - click here for prices and more information. Under 13s go free.
This year's revamped line-up includes a capacity entry of '50s and '60s Grand Prix cars in the HGPCA 'Historic Gold Cup', featuring machinery from Lotus, Brabham, Maserati and Cooper. Other special additions include strong grids from Masters Historic Racing, the Classic Sports Car Club, Vintage Sports-Car Club and Historic Racing Drivers Club.
The event will also feature an impressive line-up from the
Historic Sports Car Club, including a full field of Historic
Formula Junior cars, plus the Guards Trophy for '60s sports-racing
and GT cars and the Aurora Trophy for powerful 1970s
single-seaters. In all, more than 270 cars have been entered for

There will be lots to see and enjoy off the track too, including
retro car displays and a special area for the Cheshire Concours
D'esprit (Sunday only). There will be miniature steam railway
running alongside The Avenue section of the circuit, plus a major
Hampson Auction for classic cars and motorbikes. In addition
there's an artisan market, vintage music, funfair and much more.
