Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing's Luke Hilton continued his strong run of pre-season testing form by topping the opening day at Oulton Park on Tuesday.
The British driver, returning to the series for a second year, set a 1m34.657 in the final session of the day to put himself 0.052s clear of Elite's Fred Green, who was quickest in two of the day's four sessions. Hilton has so far led the way in four of the seven days of testing held so far across pre-season.
KMR's Alex O'Grady, another consistent front-runner across pre-season, was third quickest on day one, courtesy of his session two-topping time, and 0.049s clear of Hillspeed's Enzo Hallman, who ensured four different teams were represented inside the top-four.
The second Elite Motorsport car of Matan Achituv was fifth fastest, 0.055s ahead of the lead Douglas Motorsport runner of Jason Smyth, with the top-six covered by 0.348s.
Fortec Motorsports duo Franek Cegielski and Thomas Ingram Hill were next up in seventh and eighth, with Emmilio Valentino Del Grosso (Elite) and Conor Grant (Douglas) completing the day one top-10, which was covered by less than a second.
As has been the case in pre-season, a huge entry took part in the day, with 28 drivers on track at Oulton Park today.
