GBR Stratton has announced that British Touring Car Championship race winner Ronan Pearson will join John Hartshorne in an Aston Martin Vantage GT4 for the British GT Championship this season.

Hartshorne brings plenty of experience to the 2026 newcomers and has contested in the European and Asian Le Mans Series in recent years. The 68-year-old last raced an Aston Martin in British GT in 2014, 10 years after his debut in the category.

Teammate Pearson transfers from BTCC, where he drove a Toyota Corolla GR Sport in 2025. He will be competing against ex-rival Colin Turkington in the GT4 class during the upcoming campaign.

John Hartshorne said: "I am so pleased to be joining GBR Stratton for my first British GT campaign for many years. To be driving with the talent that is Ronan, a BTCC race winner, makes it even more exciting!"

Ronan Pearson said: “I am absolutely ecstatic to be making my debut in the British GT Championship with GBR Stratton Motorsport. This change of career path has me incredibly motivated for success and I feel extremely lucky to be working with some great people who have really been in my corner through every step so far.”
