Tickets for the 2026 edition of Oulton Park’s signature Historic Gold Cup, which returns to its traditional August Bank Holiday date (29-31), are on sale now. These are available at discounted pre-Christmas earlybird prices – click here to make the most of the best rate we’ll offer and book now.

At the heart of the Gold Cup’s offering is on-track nostalgia overseen by the Historic Sports Car Club. This will include an eclectic range of its own classes, from single-seaters to GTs, with guest categories from other organisers adding to the bill too.

Historic Grand Prix cars will be competing for the Gold Cup, whilst thunderous Formula 5000 and Historic Formula 2 cars race in the Derek Bell Trophy. Historic Formula 3, Historic Formula Junior and Historic Formula Fords provide additional packed single seater grids.

Closed wheel action comes from the HSCC Alfa Romeo Championship, HSCC Guards Trophy, featuring GT cars from the 1960s, and the fire spitting Special Saloons and Modsports from the Classic Sports Car Club.

The Vintage Sports Car Club will showcase a fabulous grid of machines, and the 500 Owners Association make a welcome return with 500cc historic single seater racing cars.

Away from the circuit itself, the event will act as a key social fixture on the north west’s automotive calendar. This will include extensive car displays from a range of classic car clubs, plus yet another sublime edition of the Cheshire Concours. Book early to secure the best possible grandstand upgrades too!
