Vaux Valves, the big celebration of all things Vauxhall Motors, makes its Oulton Park debut next month (20 September), and tickets, display car and club stands are still available to book at advance rates. At previous editions of the event at Brands Hatch and Donington Park, the venues have featured vast selections of Vauxhall machines of all ages. As the event moves up to the Vauxhall heartlands, with the Ellesmere Port assembly facility just up the road, another impressive line-up is expected once more.

Attending vehicles will showcase the brand’s superb racing heritage as well as its iconic range of road-going machinery, with many rare and famous examples expected to attend. An ex-Jason Plato BTCC super touring car from 2000 is one of the highlights, appearing in an on-track demonstration, while several car clubs and individual owners will add to the festival feel.

Iconic cars will take to the Oulton Park circuit during the track parade for all display car owners and owners’ clubs, plus racing action will come from the 750 Motor Club, with tin tops, saloons, single-seaters and sports cars all included. A line-up of Vauxhall Novas is expected to feature in the Classic Stock Hatch contests for cars built up to 1992.
