Championship leader Aaron Silvester was once again the man to beat in first practice as he led the way with a best lap of 1min 44.199secs.
Silvester led early in the session and despite dropping down the order, found his best lap at the very end of the session to lead Charlie Atkins by 0.891secs.
Australia’s Jacob Hatch – who won here in May – was third, ahead of Asher Durham while Owen Jenner rounded out the top five.
