BeerMonster Ducati returned to the track at Oulton Park this afternoon, topping the Bennetts British Superbike Championship Free Practice times with Tommy Bridewell as the team continue the legacy of Paul Bird, who sadly passed away earlier this month.
The BeerMonster Ducati teammates had set the pace for the majority of the session, but in the closing stages, Lee Jackson split the pair for the Cheshire Mouldings Kawasaki team, missing out on the top spot by 0.090s.
Leon Haslam continued his strong form at the Cheshire circuit with fourth place for ROKiT BMW Motorrad, just ahead of Peter Hickman who completed the top five.
Kyle Ryde led the LAMI OMG Racing Yamaha challenge in sixth, just ahead of fellow Yamaha rider Jason O'Halloran with Ryan Vickers returning to action in eighth place. Christian Iddon and Luke Mossey completed the top ten.
