Oulton Park's signature Historic Gold Cup returns for three days of nostalgic motorsport action this weekend (28-30 July) and there is still time to save on tickets by booking in advance. Click here to secure discounted advance admission now – under-13s go FREE!
On-circuit entertainment at this nostalgic summer showpiece will overseen by the Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC) with a curated race line-up featuring guest categories from many of Europe’s leading motorsport organisers. These include the Historic Grand Prix Car Association, Formula Junior Historic Racing Association, Classic Sports Car Club, Vintage Sports Car Club, Historic Racing Drivers Club and Motor Racing Legends.
Cars in action will range from classically modelled ‘60s F1 machines to crowd-pleasing tin tops and elegant GT cars from a bygone age. But that’s not all there is to the show, with a wide range of themed activities off the track too. These include pre-‘00s car displays, a vintage music festival, a Hampson Auction and much more.
There will also be a special anniversary celebration of Jim Clark’s 1963 F1 season during which he won the Oulton Park Gold Cup in addition to the World Championship. In partnership with the Jim Clark Trust, this will be centred around the Oulton Park Exhibition which will feature a Lotus 25 on display as well as a specially commissioned artwork which can exclusively be viewed by visitors this weekend.
Discounted advance tickets for the Oulton Park Gold Cup on 28-30 July are available until 4pm on Wednesday 26 July, after which admission will only be available at full price on the gate. Adult Saturday and Sunday tickets are £25 in advance with further reductions for 13-15-year-olds and free entry for under-13s. For more information and to buy tickets, click here.
