MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship
Oulton Park (International)
Friday 09 - Sunday 11 September 2016

The UK's biggest motorsport series returns to Cheshire on 9-11 September for a rare MCE BSB triple header that concludes the main season phase of the championship. Following the event at Oulton Park, only the top six riders in the points standings will be eligible for championship glory...

It's been a vintage year in MCE British Superbikes so far, with multiple race winners and drama at every turn. Four-time champion Shane Byrne looks in imperious form, and has mastered his new steed - the Be Wiser Ducati Panigale R - with ease. His closest rival is Leon Haslam, who has proved a force to be reckoned with on his return from World Superbikes, and he took the opening round win at Oulton Park back in May. Also in contention is BMW's Michael Laverty and the Honda Racing pairing of Dan Linfoot and Jason O'Halloran, but James Ellison, John Hopkins and Richard Cooper are all set to feature too!

The opening MCE BSB race will take place on the Saturday after qualifying, with two further races on the Sunday (main event day). The Oulton Park circuit is set in stunning parkland and offers superb elevated views around much of the track - there's also a number of big TV screens to ensure you miss none of the action.

The circuit has its own campsite too, so why not join us for the whole weekend and soak up the atmosphere during the evenings as well as on-track?

MCE British Superbike Championship

Dickies British Supersport Championship

With a selection of leading manufacturers and riders assembled on the grid, the BSB’s leading support category is a top class series in its own right.

Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship

The Pirelli National Superstock 1000 is a series fast developing a reputation for producing top class talent. Many past competitors have graduated to BSB level, so the current crop will be keen to emulate their performances!

Pirelli National Superstock 600 Championship

This is the Junior of the two Superstock classes and allows grids of aspiring young riders aged between 16 and 25 cutting their teeth before moving up to the next level.

HEL Performance British Motostar

Riders as young as 13 can compete in this series featuring predominantly 125GP bikes, though 2012 also saw the introduction of Moto3 machines. The class class remains the last bastion of two stroke power for young rider development.
