The Oulton Park Vintage Festival, incorporating the Hawthorn Memorial Trophies, will transform the classic Cheshire circuit into a scene from yesteryear with motor races from the Vintage Sports-Car Club (VSCC), air displays, and many other nostalgic attractions.
The VSCC organises races for cars from motorsport's pioneering age, where Edwardian era machinery can be found alongside sports and racing cars from the inter-war years. Entries at VSCC events regularly feature cars that raced in famous international races including the Mille Miglia and Le Mans. A huge entry of over 200 cars will take to the track at this event, including BTCC Champions John Cleland and Andrew Jordan, and rock star Chris Rea.

There will be plenty of period-themed attractions to keep you occupied off-track too, including classic car displays, an air display, a spitfire ground display with Merlin engine demonstrations, live jazz music and more!ADVANCE BOOKING HAS NOW CLOSED. Race for Vintage Racing CarsThis contest is for bespoke racing machines built during the sport’s vintage years, an era in which seatbelts weren't compulsory it was only the bravest drivers that succeeded.
Hawthorn Memorial and Spanish TrophiesAn eclectic event with an emphasis on race-prepared machines built before 1961. The Len Thompson machines are race specials with engine capacities up to 1500cc.
Bill Phillips Trophy RaceEvoking memories of the Targa Florio and early editions of Le Mans, this event will be a showcase of sportscar racing’s pioneering age. Grids comprise standard and modified Pre-War sports cars.
Handicap and Scratch RacesShort races for vintage machines. Slower cars start with an artificial advantage in handicap contests, setting up a tense finish as the faster cars hunt them down.
Morgan Three-WheelersThe Three Wheeler is an integral part of the Morgan Motor Company's history. Similar to motorcycle sidecars, with a steering wheel, these are thrilling to watch.
