Oulton Park (International)
Saturday 06 August 2016

Oulton Park is set for the BARC Club Car Championships this Saturday (6 August) for a challenging day of racing on the International circuit between sports cars and saloons.

Races from the CNC Heads Sports Saloons promise to be a crowd favourite due to the range of machinery competing for class victory. This series is open to modified and special series cars, so expect the likes of tuned Caterham style racers, all the way up to ex-Touring and GT cars doing battle on a greatly supported grid.

The Caterham Graduate series provides a large number of entries of the much loved lightweight sports car, and the series is split into five classes to ensure a level playing field. This is something that hasn't gone amiss with spectators who have been treated to some highly competitive wheel to wheel action in the past with more of the same expected this Saturday on the Cheshire circuit.

Oulton Park also welcomes the Scottish Fiesta Championship for their only away day of the year, with all of the other rounds held at Knockhill. The championship consists of two separate classes, MK2 Fiesta XR2s and 2 litre engine ST cars.

The paddock will be open to let spectators get a closer look at the cars in race preparation and meet the teams and drivers.
