The Vintage Sports-Car Club returns to Oulton Park for the first time in five years - and it's set to be a highlight of the picturesque Cheshire circuit's calendar. The VSCC organises races for cars from motorsport's pioneering age, where Edwardian era machinery can be found alongside sports and racing cars from the inter-war years, and racers from the immediate post-war era. Entries at VSCC events regularly feature cars that raced at Brooklands and in famous international races including the Mille Miglia and Le Mans.
The Hawthorn Memorial Trophies Meeting will consist of racing for pre-war cars, including a wide variety of sports cars, racing cars and voiturettes, with a sports car relay at the end of the day.
There will be off-track entertainment including a Pimms and Cream Tea Tent, live music, vintage and historic car display, fun fair, air display, adventure playground and more. The VSCC will also be holding a club day at the circuit on Sunday 19 July (admission is free of charge), which will include classic car displays, Cheshire Life concours, vintage bus tours of circuit, an auto solo and trials course.
PLEASE NOTE - THE MAIN EVENT DAY IS ON THE SATURDAY 18 JULY,
THERE WILL BE NO RACE CONTENT ON SUNDAY 19 JULY.

Race for Vintage Racing CarsThis contest is for bespoke racing machines built during the sport’s vintage years, an era in which seatbelts weren't compulsory it was only the bravest drivers that succeeded.
Hawthorn Memorial and Spanish TrophiesAn eclectic event with an emphasis on race-prepared machines built before 1961. The Len Thompson machines are race specials with engine capacities up to 1500cc.
Bill Phillips Trophy RaceEvoking memories of the Targa Florio and early editions of Le Mans, this event will be a showcase of sportscar racing’s pioneering age. Grids comprise standard and modified Pre-War sports cars.
Hawthorn Brighton Trophy RaceThis contest is for pre-war sportscars. Frazer Nashes, Rileys, and MGs will dispute the silverware in a contest for road-spec machinery. One of the unique aspects of this series is that the cars have to have been driven to and from the circuit.
Hawthorn International TrophyA race for 1950s sports=prototypes, recalling an era in which Grand Prix drivers such as Stirling Moss and Mike Hawthorn frequently raced in sports cars on non-F1 weekends.
Bruce Spollon MemorialA contest for standard and modified pre-war sportscars.
Handicap and Scratch RacesShort races for vintage machines. Slower cars start with an artificial advantage in handicap contests, setting up a tense finish as the faster cars hunt them down.
